Three desperate characters in the middle of nwhere.
What could go wrong? Everything. No matter how hard you try, you cannot escape your past... not even in Barstow.
BARSTOW - to be directed by Steve Railsback, was written ten years ago by his brother, the late Philip Railsback
("Flash of Genius", Universal Pictures; "The Stars Fell Over Henrietta", Malpaso Pictures) while spending
some time in this infamous desolate California town.
Starring Keith Carridine and
Scott Wilson, the project is currently in the development stage.
"This
is my brother's masterpiece and his last work. The script is flawless from beginning to end and I want to make sure
that it gets made and released in the way it deserves. We already have the soundtrack by the amazing artist-music producer,
Jay Pugh (Jam Master Jay) but "Mickey", the main character, has not been cast yet. In fact, I am still searching
for THE Mickey. Once I find him, we'll start rolling. In the meantime, we will work on attracting move investors
to the project - as usual, I dont want finances to get in the way of art". - Steve Railsback
